Good Taste Photography is a photoblog exhibiting all the baked goods, restaurants, and ingredients that make New Jersey and New York tasty, culinary paradises. I work in New York City, I live in New Jersey, and I travel to Pennsylvania, California, Las Vegas, Oregon, and other crazy places somewhat often. Everywhere I go, I eat, I shoot, and I post, so you can enjoy it all from your computer screen.

Essential things you should know about me:
- My name is Laura.
- I can cook but not bake.
- I love to eat.
- ..but I lost 100 lbs 5 years ago that I’m determined not to gain back.
- I love art, photography, technology, computers, travel, and the internet.
All these facts combine such that I am often buying food, eating food, taking pictures of food, and then distributing them across teh intarwebs. How does this jive with #4? I only eat pretty things, only when I’m done photographing them, and only in small quantities, because things rarely taste as good as they look.

About My Camera
I use a Canon Digital Rebel XT with a 100mm macro lens and a 50mm macro lens. I use a speedlite flash with the macros if the lighting is subpar. I also take many other photographs, which you can see at Laura In Digital, and, for those, I use a wide range of lenses; an 85mm portrait lens, two telephotos with an extender, the 2 macros, a prime 50mm, and an 18-55mm. In 2 years, I’ve taken 10,000 photographs with this camera alone. I’ve had many cameras before my dSLR, but this one is the best and has truly been lifechanging.
