Easter eggs like you’ve never seen them before

Okay, maybe that’s a little over-dramatic, but I maintain these are unusual Easter eggs, the likes of which you probably have not seen before. Our first specimen is a yellow egg with evocative blue cracks. I dyed a cracked egg yellow, then applied a blue color stick to the center hole. The dye magically traveled outward through the cracks, giving us this egg. It was accidental awesomeness.

Here’s a closer look at the texture of a dye-job. Eggs have micro-bumps on them, and, in this case, some of them didn’t take color well.
